The Washington 5K Challenge Road Race and one mile fun run will be held on Sat., Aug. 7 at 8:30 a.m. Runners and walkers of all ages and abilities are welcome.
The race begins at the Prescott Memorial School on Rt. 200 in Washington. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. The entry fee is $15 ($30 maximum per family), and includes a t-shirt until they run out. Overall winners and age group winners will receive an award.
A raffle will follow the race. Proceeds from the race will benefit the Washington Community Scholarship Fund, which provides scholarships to graduating seniors from the town. For further information, please contact Steve Ocean at 845-2256.
