Winthrop clipped the Seahawks 29-31 in boys’ cross country action on Sept. 9 in Boothbay. Wiscasset did not have enough runners for a team score. Kyle Shute, Wiscasset’s lone runner, placed 20th in 24:31. In girls’ action, Heidi Pinkham placed sixth in 27:13 and Alyssa Urquhart 12th in 37:53.
