Wiscasset High School baseball defeated Buckfield 4-0 Wednesday afternoon to win the Western Maine Class D championship. They play for the State title at 3 p.m. on Saturday in Bangor.
Tyler Bailey went the distance in the win (8K,4H). Matt Craig made a diving catch in centerfield and Brycson Grover a diving catch at second base in an outstanding defensive performance from Wiscasset.
