Wiscasset boys’ team improved to 4-0 with a 5-2 win over Hall-Dale Monday in Wiscasset. The Redskins pounced on the Bulldogs early, taking a 2-0 lead into the halftime break. Brian Campbell gave WHS a 1-0 lead with an unassisted goal. Tyler Sonia converted a feed from Ross Hanley with 11:27 to go to put Wiscasset up 2-0.
Wiscasset went up 3-0 on a shot from Ross Hanley, assisted by John McLeod. Joe Shagoury put Hall-Dale on the boards, before Wiscasset scored two unassisted goals from Dan Murphy and Sonia. Colin Lush scored the second goal for the Dogs assisted by Austin Bechard.
Mason Brewer made three saves for Wiscasset and Jonathan McNaughton 12 saves for Hall-Dale.
John McLeod scored the game winner with 5:10 remaining in the game with Benn collecting the assist.
Mason Brewer had two saves in the win for Wiscasset. Tyler Gilson made nine saves in net for the Buccaneers.

James Andretta headed in a Stewart corner kick with 27:57 to go in the half to put Wiscasset up 2-0 at the half. Danny Murphy scored the third goal of the game with 7:27 to go in the second half on a header off a John McLeod corner kick.
Wiscasset held a 40-4 edge in shots. Shane Tanguay had an outstanding night in net for the Greyhounds, rejecting 29 shots, including numerous diving grabs. Mason Brewer earned the shutout in net for Wiscasset with three saves, including a first half rocket from point blank range.
