Miranda McIntire converted a pass from Sarah Hanley to give the Wolverines the lead. Lauren Selwood knotted the score sending the game into the half in a 1-1 tie.
Shania Marr scored back-to-back goals about a minute apart early in the second half to lift Wiscasset to victory. McIntire collected the assist on both goals.
Marr’s first goal came on a through pass up the middle that put in high, and the second from the right wing on a bouncing ball that scooted under keeper Danielle Pease’s hands.
Wiscasset held a 30-8 edge in shots. Kasey Cromwell made 7 saves in net for Wiscasset, and Pease 16 in net for the Ramblers.
“We had a few opportunities,” coach Duane Goud said. St. Dom’s held a 25-3 advantage in shots. Kasey Cromwell made 10 saves in net for the Wolverines, and Mary Caron two in net for the Saints. “Our communication and spacing was not as good as it has been the last few games,” Goud added.
