Wiscasset hosted their MVC opener on April 28. Boothbay boys won with 195.5 points, followed by Madison 157.5, Winthrop 106, Monmouth 83, Carrabec 33, Wiscasset 26, and St. Dom’s 14.
Sam Storer won the 400 for Wiscasset in 57.56, and Colin Viele took second in 57.64. Brandon Goud was out-kicked in the mile run, taking second in 5:01 behind William Vance (5:00).
Boothbay boys won two relays, the 4×800 in 9:21 and the 4×400 in 4:03, and placed second in the 4×100 in 49.87.
Abel Bryer won the javelin (146’2″), was second in the discus (101’2″) and fourth in the 400 in 58.89. Kyle Almao won the racewalk in 8:38 and finished third in the 3200 in 12.02. Antonio Maulolo won the shotput (39’11.25″). Eli Gudroe won the high jump (5’2″) and took third in the triple jump (34’3.75″) and fourth in the long jump (17’5.5″). Joey Paolillo won the 800 in 2:19, Kyle Ames was second in 2:22, and Liam Conlin fourth in 2:25.
Morgen Wilson was second in the 300 hurdles in 51.9 and third in the racewalk in 9:18. Howie Carter was third in the 400 in 58.61 and sixth in the 200 in 27.09. Eli Gudore was third in the 300 hurdles in 52.61.
Dima Gosselin was fourth in the 100 in 12.77, fifth in the 200 in 26.32, and seventh in the shot put (30’5.75″). Chris Groneng was fourth in racewalk in 10:10 and Nick Simpson fifth in 10:10. Lucas Leighton took fourth in the shot (33’7.5″). Matt Burnham placed sixth in the 1600 in 5:15 and Conlin seventh in 5:17. Jay Hasch was fifth in the triple jump (28’8″) and Graham Bryer sixth (27’11.5″). Bryer took fourth in the high jump (5′).
Girls results
Monmouth won the girls meet with 172.5 points, followed by Boothbay 170, Winthrop 95, Carrabec 62, St. Dom’s 50, Madison 31, and Wiscasset 27.5.
Amanda Main placed in three events for Wiscasset, taking second in the long jump (15′) and high jump (4’6″) and third in the triple jump (29’4.75″). Gabby Chapman placed fifth in the 100 dash in 15.14.
Morgan Crocker won four events for Boothbay, the 100 hurdles in 18.12, the 300 hurdles in 50.35, the long jump (16’5″), and the triple jump (32’3″).
Hannah Morley won the 1600 in 6:05 and was second in the 800 in 2:47. Angie Perkins won the high jump (4’6″) and was second in the 200 in 31.55 and 300 hurdles in 54.83.
Meghan Oakes took second in the javelin (66’7″). Lisa Pawlowski was third in the high jump (4’4″). Sinead Miller was third in the 300 hurdles in 54.83 and fourth in the 100 hurdles in 19.7. Allie Simmons took third in discus (69’9″) and fourth in shot (22’4.25″). Taylor Wally was fifth in the 100 hurdles in 20.83. Syden Mercier was fifth in the 200 in 32.28, sixth in the 100 in 15.24, and tied for sixth in the high jump (3′). Nicole LeBrecque was fifth in the 400 in 1:23 and seventh in the 100 in 15.59. Samantha Carter took fifth in three events, the 100 in 15.59, shot (21’7.75″), and javelin (58’4″). Jamie Wheeler was sixth in the racewalk in 11:56. Hailey Greenleaf took fifth in the 3200 in 15:00. Erica Eames took seventh in the shot (21′.5″).
