Daisy and Brownie Girl Scout Troop No. 1145 will hold its second cookie booth sale at 441 Main St. in Damariscotta, across from Dunkin’ Donuts, on Saturday, March 9 from noon-3 p.m. The girls are very excited to have their second cookie booth and hope people can stop by and say hello and buy cookies.

Workout and Cocktails for a Cure at Ocean Blue Fitness
On Saturday, March 9, Ocean Blue Fitness in Damariscotta will be one of over 30 gyms nationwide that will be raising money to find a cure for leukemia and lymphoma at a workout and Cocktails for a Cure event. There will be two different workouts to choose from at either 2 p.m. or 3 p.m., then from 4:30-7 p.m., Hawks House Inn will host cocktails, gourmet hors d’oeuvres, and desserts.
Listening Tour Aims to Hear From Farmers Across the State
This June, Maine Farmland Trust will embark on a road trip and listening tour to visit farms from York County to “The County.” The statewide organization, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, will incorporate the conversations and feedback from the listening tour into its strategic planning process.
