The Bremen Fire Department will be hosting its annual turkey supper on Saturday, Oct. 27 at the fire station, on Route 32 in Bremen. The supper, which includes turkey and all the fixings, will be held from 5-7 p.m. The cost is $12 for adults and $6 for children.

Heidi L. Waning, 54, of Waldoboro, died unexpectedly Aug. 25 at her home of heart complications due to high blood pressure. Heidi had her CRMA (Certification in Risk Management Assurance) working at Progressive Housing, and was a chef at many restaurants in the Mid-Coast Maine area for over 35 years.

Melody Ann Feltis, 52, of Waldoboro, succumbed to her battle with cancer on Sept. 29 at her home. She was born Nov. 29, 1965 in Manchester, N.H. to Stillman Curtis Lawrence III and Mary Louise Delisle Lawrence.
