Change of venue: Nita Greenleaf’s community supper will be held this Saturday, Feb. 17 from 4:30-6 p.m. in the Old Town Hall. Ten dollars for adults and eight dollars for kids under age eight will get one a tantalizing meal of roast pork and stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, string beans and applesauce, and coffee and tea and dessert. Shake off the winter doldrums and join folks for some food and conversation this weekend.
Historical Society to Show Old Photos from Archive
In the two years since forming its digital images archive, the Old Bristol Historical Society has collected a little more than 2,500 of its ultimate goal of 10,000 images. On Sunday, Feb. 18 at 2 p.m. at the Bristol Mills Congregational Church, co-presidents Chuck Rand and Belinda Osier will share images from the archive while at the same time demonstrating how newly purchased software will enable the public to search Bristol’s visual past.

Danny Peters Shines at LA Dining Services
Danny Peters lives in Mobius Inc.’s Chapman Street apartments in Damariscotta. Originally from Boothbay, he graduated from Boothbay High School in 1998. In his spare time, Peters competes in the Special Olympics; swimming is his favorite sport. He enjoys video games, rollerblading, taking long walks, and spending time with his cat, Shadow. On weekdays, he works in the Lincoln Academy dining hall kitchen.
