At their first joint meeting of the 2019-2020 budget cycle, Wednesday, March 13, the Wiscasset Board of Selectmen and Wiscasset Budget Committee agreed to meet every Monday and Wednesday for the next three weeks as they review departmental budgets.

George F. Faux, Inc. has applied for a limited-purpose (3-year, experimental) aquaculture lease on a 1.12-acre site located southeast of Great Salt Bay, Upper Damariscotta River, Newcastle for suspended culture of American/Eastern oysters.
AQUACULTURE LEASE APPLICATION – PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD
Mook Sea Farms, Inc. has applied to the Department of Marine Resources for a limited-purpose (3-year, experimental) aquaculture lease on a 4-acre site located west of Miles Hospital (Days Cove), Damariscotta River, Damariscotta, Maine for suspended culture of American/Eastern oysters, bay scallops, and surf clams. Other compatible uses of the area would be permitted.
