A Lincoln County Superior Court grand jury has indicted William M. Harrison, 40, Charleston, Mass. on a charge of Class B aggravated assault.
NWS Issues Wind Advisory for Tues. Night Storm
The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Wind Advisory in regard to a storm front expected to visit Lincoln County Tuesday night through Wednesday morning. The front is forecast to bring southerly winds with a sustained velocity of 25 to 35 mph and gusts exceeding 45 mph, according to the NWS. Heavy rainfall is also expected with this storm, according to the NWS.

Whitefield Selectmen Sign Tax Commitment, Discuss Clary Lake Dam
Agreeing with a 4-1 vote, the Whitefield Board of Selectmen signed the town’s 2012 tax commitment at their Sept. 11 meeting. Selectman Lester Sheaffer dissented.
Jefferson School Bus Snags Low Hanging Lines
A bus carrying about a dozen students from Jefferson Village School snagged a low hanging Fairpoint Communications line on Rt. 32 in Jefferson during the afternoon of Sept. 27.
