Breaking News — NWS Warns of Thunderstorms
At 2:32 p.m. Sunday the National Weather Service issued a Special Weather Statement regarding a line of thunderstorms advancing on Lincoln County, warning that hail up to ΒΌ inch in diameter, excessive cloud to ground lightning and gusty winds of 35 to 45 mph could accompany these storms. Radar images monitored at 2:40 p.m. indicated a large weather system tracking directly toward Damariscotta, Nobleboro and Waldoboro.
