NWS Issues Wind Advisory in Advance of Storm
The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Wind Advisory for Lincoln County in regard to an approaching nor’easter. While this event is forecast to bring sustained winds in the 20-30 mph range and some mixed precipitation, it will be a minor event compared with the recent visit of Hurricane Sandy. The first precipitation from the storm is forecast to arrive Wednesday afternoon as rain and snow, then continue to develop during the overnight hours.
