The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Winter Storm Watch in regard to a weather system now approaching Lincoln County from the west. Forecasters are calling for a two-part storm to chug through Lincoln County, with the first part during the daytime hours of Tuesday, and the second part during the daytime hours of Wednesday. While the Tuesday snowfall is forecast to be relatively light, early indications are that the Wednesday snowfall combined with high winds should make for a significant event.

The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Winter Storm Watch in regard to a storm forecast to drop into Lincoln County beginning Wednesday evening and hang around until Thursday morning, leaving some snow behind. Broadcast forecasters are calling for 3-6 inches of snowfall along the coastline with lesser amounts inland. The NWS is calling for over 6 inches of accumulation.
