Bintliff Property Sold To Bank
Savings Bank of Maine took ownership of Roger Bintliff’s Edgecomb Development property on Davis Island for $7.5 million at a public auction held at the closed resort restaurant on Dec. 28. Several people showed up, but made no bids.
Johnson gets nine months, three years probation

Former Wiscasset town clerk Sandra Johnson was sentenced in Lincoln County Superior Court Thursday to serve nine months at the Two Bridges Regional Jail for theft of town funds.
After her release, she will serve three years’ probation and has been ordered to pay a total of $115,651.95 in restitution, according to District Attorney Geoffrey Rushlau.
Johnson was arrested in October, 2008 after a town audit revealed over $90,000 missing.
Breaking News – Fatal Traffic Collision Reported During Snowstorm in Edgecomb
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) is investigating a motor vehicle fatality that occurred on Rt. 27 in Edgecomb, according to LCSO Lt. Rand Maker. The accident was reported Weds. evening during a major snowstorm.
