Charlotte C. Spinney, 83, died on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at the Maine Medical Center in Portland.

Born Sept. 28, 1937 in Boston, Mass. to Alison Niven Damon and Edmund Ives Damon. “Cot,” as he was known, attended the Rectory and Gunnery schools in Connecticut, and went on to Dean College. He served in the Army and was stationed in the Philippines.

J. William Silverberg, MD, passed away on July 21, 2019 at the age of 95. Dr. Silverberg of White Plains, N.Y. and New Harbor, received his medical degree from Columbia College of Physicians & Surgeons in 1950 and practiced psychiatry with great devotion and diligence over 60 years, largely in White Plains, N.Y.

Mrs. Elizabeth Britton Creamer, 99, passed away peacefully with loving family by her side on Oct. 26, 2018 in Louisville, Ky.

Emma J. Squillante, 94, of Boothbay Harbor, passed away peacefully July 8, 2019. She was the daughter of Carl and Jennie Manna, born in Boston, Mass. on Jan. 2, 1925.

Chris Simpson, 64, of Whitefield, passed away on the afternoon of July 9, 2019. Chris worked for the Maine Public Utilities Commission since 1985, with a four-year break to pursue a lifelong passion by teaching at Stepping Stones Montessori School.
