Bennie Joe Hilt Maddocks, 47, formerly of Appleton and currently of Texas, passed away on Aug. 16 after an automobile accident in Tyler, Texas.

Patrick Merton Leeman, 42, of Bristol, passed away suddenly on Aug. 13. Born on Nov. 1, 1975 in Damariscotta, he was the son of Craig and Donna Leeman of New Harbor.

Irene V. Straghan – aka Mimi – passed away peacefully on the morning of Aug. 12 after a short stay at LincolnHealth – Miles Campus. She was 90 years old.

Bridgett M. Clark passed away Aug. 11 at Maine Medical Center. She was born on Aug. 10, 1966 in Reading, Calif., where she attended local schools.

Steven E. Ridley, 67, of Nobleboro, passed away unexpectedly on Aug. 12.

Marjorie “Marcia” Lorraine Rice, 79, of Woolwich, died peacefully at home on Aug. 7.

Dennis W. Peters, 63, of Boothbay, died unexpectedly at his home on Aug. 8.

Thomas Chalmers Buchanan III, “Tom,” 89, lately of Bristol, passed away peacefully on Aug. 3 while Beethoven serenaded him into his final sleep. He was blessed to spend his final days in the Sussman House hospice facility in Rockport, surrounded by loving family. His love of church was represented by a trio of clergymen.
