Elizabeth Whitney “Betty” Crisci, 90, was born on Nov. 15, 1927 in Newton, Mass., and died peacefully in her sleep on Aug. 3 at Harbor View Cottage, Lincoln Home in Newcastle. She was the daughter of Allen F. and Mattie (Mazzur) Whitney.

Rosemarie Seaver, 53, of Round Pond, passed away unexpectedly on Aug. 4 at her home.  Rosemarie was born in Quincy, Mass. to Robert Nelson Seaver and Theresa (Bracko) Seaver on Oct. 19, 1964.

Priscilla A. Stevens, 85, of Topsham, formerly of Boothbay, passed away peacefully on July 26 surrounded by her loving family, at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough.

Stanley W. Foye, 76, of Pittston, died unexpectedly at his home on July 20.

John Joseph Crane IV, of Port Clyde, passed away unexpectedly on July 28. John was 56 years old, just shy of his 57th birthday.

Creighton Charles Blenkhorn, 89, of Edgecomb, died July 22 in Damariscotta after a brief illness.

Joyce Marie Jackson, of Abbot, passed away on July 23 at her home in the loving arms of her husband, Donald R. Prior. They were married on July 2, 1988.

Ann Swett was born on Oct. 12, 1926, in Berwyn, Penn., and died on July 25 in Concord, N.H. She was the daughter of the late Isabel Hamill Parkhurst and Henry Williams Parkhurst and younger sister of the late Henry Williams Parkhurst Jr.

Joseph H. Claffey, “Joe,” 87, lately of Pittston, died peacefully at Sussman House in Rockport on July 19 after a lengthy illness.

Alan J. Azzara, 72, of Westport Island, departed this world much against his will July 20.
