George E. Harris, 71, died Dec. 19 at St. Mary’s D’Youville Pavilion in Lewiston.

Bridget K. “Bridy” Collamore, 97, of Bremen, passed away on Dec. 19 at the Sussman House in Rockport with her family by her side.

Paul Clayton Fossett, 80, died on Oct. 28, 2016 in Orange, Conn.

Cynthia B. Arsenault, 83, of Westport Island, died Dec. 8 in the comfort of her home that she shared with her son and daughter-in-law.

Joyce Munsey Cullen, 93, of Nashua, N.H. and Round Pond, died on Dec. 18 at Aynsley Place in Nashua, N.H.

Alton R. Chadwick, 84, of Wiscasset, died Dec. 11 at the Sussman House in Rockport. Born in St. George, July 26, 1933, he was the son of Merrill and Elizabeth Simmons Chadwick.

Steven “Tonkey” Douglas Thompson Sr., 63, of Warren, passed away peacefully at his home Dec. 15 with his beloved wife at his side.

Dr. Douglas S. Hancock, 71, of Newcastle and Bremen, passed away at home on Dec. 18, hand-in-hand with his loving wife, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on Oct. 9, 1946 in Portland, he was the son of the late Sumner and Elizabeth “Betty” (Homans) Hancock.

John D. Buckingham Jr., 84, passed away peacefully at his home Dec. 14 surrounded by his loving family. He had fought prostate cancer for many years using all the latest treatments he could, and was grateful that he was able to gain some extra time.

Sally Halverson, 93, longtime resident of Newcastle, passed peacefully at her home surrounded by family on Dec. 9 of natural causes.

Jack Nolan Hood, 74, of South Bristol, passed on Dec. 11 after a brief illness.

Rita Nadeau Potvin, 89, of Waterville, passed peacefully away on Dec. 8 at Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta.
