Carroll F. Schroeder Jr. May 5, 1934 - June 27, 2016

Carroll F. Schroeder Jr., 82, of Newcastle, passed away on the morning of June 27 at the Gregory Wing in Boothbay Harbor. Carroll was born on May 5, 1934 in Newport, R.l., to Carroll and Alpha Schroeder Sr. He was the husband of Marion Lawrence Schroeder of Newcastle. This coming July 20th would have been their 57th wedding anniversary.

Brian Lewis, 51, of Newcastle, passed away at his home on the evening of June 30, surrounded by his friends and caregivers. Born on May 31, 1965 in Winchester, Mass., he was the son of Paul and Patricia (Murdock) Lewis.

Merton W. Leeman, 92, passed away on the morning of July 1 at Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta with his loving children by his side. Born on Sept. 11, 1923 in Round Pond, he was the son of Clifford and Winifred (Smith) Leeman.

Richard (“Dick”) Boyd Johnston, 88, of Jefferson, passed away peacefully at home on July 3, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Damariscotta, the youngest child of Orla and Mildred Johnston.
