Craig Morrison Cleaves, 76, passed away at his home at Brown’s Cove, in Round Pond, on July 13, surrounded by love. In the past several years he had endured many serious health problems, which he faced with courage, resolve and an extraordinary will to live and to enjoy life.

Timothy E. “Tim” Quirion, 61, of Jefferson, passed away on July 16 after a 15-year battle with Lou Gehrig’s disease and MS.

Maurice Frank Nichols Sr., 58, passed away July 11 at his home in De Kalb, Tex. after a short battle with cancer.

Dorothy B. Dimitre, 85, passed away at the Sussman House, Rockport, in the care of hospice and surrounded by her family on July 9.

Lewis Loren Feulner (nicknamed Big Lew, Lew, Red and Mort), 82, passed away of Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma on the evening of July 15 at MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta.

Kathleen “Kathy” Waltz, 77, of Jefferson, passed away at home on the morning of July 13 following a lengthy illness. The youngest of eight children, Kathy was born on Sept. 25, 1938, in Jefferson, to her parents Lydia Sprague and Albert Weaver.

Pamela Leonie Lambert, 93, of New Harbor, passed away peacefully on the morning of July 14, with her loving family by her side. Pamela was born in Cambridge, England on May 19, 1923, to Cecil and Elouise Briggs.

William “Billy” Burton Latter, 79, passed away peacefully at his home on July 12. Billy was born on Aug. 16, 1936 to Richard Mitchell Latter Sr. and Mary Dickerson Latter in Boothbay Harbor. Billy grew up in the Boothbay region, graduating from the Boothbay Harbor High School, Class of 1954.

Loretta “Bunny” Bowman, 71, of Waldoboro, died unexpectedly on July 11 at her home.
