Christina “Tina” Torres-York, 45, passed away on March 18 in a tragic automobile accident in Washington.

Eunice Charlotte (Gamage) Sigler, of Bristol, passed away on March 25 in Damariscotta. She was born May 4, 1936 in South Bristol to Harvey and Jennie (Plummer) Gamage. She graduated from Lincoln Academy in Newcastle with the class of 1954. She attended Westbrook Junior College, which later became part of the University of New England.

Edith Ann Achorn, 78, of Jefferson, passed away on March 22 at Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta surrounded by family. Edith was born April 15, 1937 in Alna, the daughter of Irvin Spencer and Florence Weaver.

Richard D. Halverson, 93, of Newcastle, passed away peacefully at his home on the afternoon of March 22, surrounded by his loving wife, son and daughter-in-law, and caregivers. Born in Minneapolis, Minn., on Jan. 14, 1923, he was the son of Jasper and Hazel (Boeghrhardt) Halverson.

Justin Tyme Simmons, 37, of Bath, died suddenly on March 20.

Elizabeth Serre Townsend, 101, of Wilmington, Del. and New Harbor, died on March 15. She was born in Philadelphia in 1914 to Charles and Antoinette Serre Townsend. Elizabeth spent her early years in Drexel Hill, Penn. and was a graduate of Upper Darby High School. She continued her education and earned a Bachelor of Science in Education (1935) and a Master of Social Work (1938) from the University of Pennsylvania where she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta.

Lois A. Bradeen, 72, formerly of Scarborough and Limington, died on March 19 at Coastal Manor Nursing Home in Yarmouth. She was born in Cape Elizabeth on Aug. 22, 1943, a daughter of Thomas “Toby” and Abbie (Seiders) Martin. She attended Cape Elizabeth schools and graduated from Cape Elizabeth High School in 1961.

Mary Butler, 74, of Union, passed away on March 21 at the Sussman House in Rockport. Mary was born March 19, 1942 in Bethel, the daughter of Paul Head and Olive Akers Head.

Vera Lincoln, 88, longtime resident of Newcastle, passed away on the morning of March 21 at the Sedgewood Commons in Falmouth. Born in Newcastle on April 11, 1927, she was the daughter of Martha (Laine) and Charles Dodge Sr.

Kimberly Ann Hill, of Wiscasset, was taken too soon on March 20. Born in Brunswick on July 9, 1982, Kimi lived a life of passion and love.

Lynne Marie Allen, 66, of Wiscasset, passed away March 18 surrounded by her family and beloved husband, Frank, by her side.

Margaret Emma Hyson, 81, died peacefully with loving family by her side on March 21. Margaret was born in Boothbay Harbor to Arthur Stone and Emma (Fuller) Stone on Feb. 15, 1935. Margaret attended school in Boothbay Harbor.

Ronald A. Peabody, 81, of Bremen, lost his battle with Alzheimer’s on the afternoon of March 20 at Cove’s Edge on the LincolnHealth – Miles Campus in Damariscotta. Born in Lewiston on March 28, 1934, he was the son of Allie E. and Rowena (Greenleaf) Peabody.
