Elizabeth Serre Townsend, 101, of Wilmington, Del. and New Harbor, died on March 15. She was born in Philadelphia in 1914 to Charles and Antoinette Serre Townsend. Elizabeth spent her early years in Drexel Hill, Penn. and was a graduate of Upper Darby High School. She continued her education and earned a Bachelor of Science in Education (1935) and a Master of Social Work (1938) from the University of Pennsylvania where she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta.

Lois A. Bradeen, 72, formerly of Scarborough and Limington, died on March 19 at Coastal Manor Nursing Home in Yarmouth. She was born in Cape Elizabeth on Aug. 22, 1943, a daughter of Thomas “Toby” and Abbie (Seiders) Martin. She attended Cape Elizabeth schools and graduated from Cape Elizabeth High School in 1961.
