John G. Abbott, 96, of Damariscotta, went peacefully to his heavenly home on April 21, with his loving family by his side. He was born on March 1, 1918 in South Portland to the late Roland G. and Teresa (Johnson) Abbott.

Evelyn Norma Reed, 82, of Friendship, passed away peacefully at Maine Medical Center in Portland on April 7.

Anthony “Tony” Joseph Trippi died suddenly of a heart attack on April 3 at the age of 44 years old. He was a devoted teacher, friend, son, and brother.

Glenna Elaine Ross (Fickert), died unexpectedly on March 24 at Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick.

Aundria Marie St. Amand, 18, of China, died April 18 in Vassalboro, as the result of an auto accident.

Troy C. Gamage, 52, of South Bristol, passed away at his home on the afternoon of April 13.

Barbara H. Johnson, 92, of Thomaston, passed away peacefully at her home on April 5. She was born in St. George on March 17, 1922, the daughter of the late Harold and Gladys Smith Harlow.

Earl L. Oiler, of Brewer, passed away peacefully March 28 at his home. He was born Nov. 1, 1935, in Springfield Township, Ohio, the son of John and Blanch (Wetenbarger) Oiler.

Ruth Laura Grueter Hackett, our dear mother, grandmother and friend, has departed this life peacefully, at home and surrounded by family on March 19.

Allan Howard Teel, 87, died peacefully April 12 at LincolnHealth – Miles campus in Damariscotta of complications from a recent stroke.

Sue Maunz Smithwick, 79, formerly of Bristol, died April 5 at her son’s home in Falmouth.

Marion S. Goodman, 93, died from congestive heart failure on Jan. 23 at her home in Damariscotta. She was born in Denver, Col. on March 3, 1920 to Benjamin and Francis (Brenner) Slater.

Paul Vincent Vassallo, 72, of Newcastle, died at his home on April 9, after a battle with lung cancer. He was surrounded by his family and maintained his sharp wit, warmth, and sense of humor until the end.

Jerome Hamilton “Jerry” St. Clair, 86, died April 11 at LincolnHealth – Miles Campus in Damariscotta, with family at his side.
