Janice Kinnear Hollis, 68, of Portland, passed away on July 10. She was born Oct. 9, 1944 in Portsmouth, N.H. to Nathalie (McLain) and Arthur Kinnear.

Eleanor A. Noyes, 94, of New Harbor, passed away peacefully on the morning of July 29 at the Cove’s Edge Nursing Facility in Damariscotta.

Leona M. Brackett, 91, of New Harbor, died June 28 at Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta.

Maryanne Parsons Storer, of Nobleboro, better known as “Polly,” was born on Dec. 11, 1926 in Damariscotta. She died in her home on July 11.

Albert H. Cullen, 90, of Nashua, N.H. and Round Pond, died on July 25 at his home in Nashua, N.H.

Russell F. Mosier, 73, of Westport Island, died June 24 at Maine Medical Center in Portland.

Harry Hendrixson, of Waldoboro, passed away early on the morning of July 9 in the home he shared with his wife, Eleanor.

Her middle name was Eloise, which may have been a portent of things to come. The framing names were Afton and Bates. She had – in the course of a blessedly long life – a number of names.

William J. Belmore, 60, of Wiscasset, passed away peacefully at his home on June 24.

Merle Charles Gifford, 77, of Waldoboro, died July 14 at MaineGeneral Hospital in Augusta.

Afton B. Haggett, 95, passed away peacefully on the morning of July 22 at Chase Point Assisted Living in Damariscotta.

Richard “Earl” Brown, 82, died on June 24. He was born in Boothbay Harbor on Sept. 28, 1930, to Edmund and Viola Brown.

Madolyn Wood Cleaves, 90, of Browns Cove, Round Pond, and North Palm Beach, Fla., died June 13 at Maine Medical Center in Portland following a brief illness.
