Helen M. Simmons, 91, of Rockland, died peacefully Aug. 8 at Pen Bay Medical Center in Rockport where she had been a patient only a few hours.

Kirke Seeger, 69, of Bath, passed away on July 11 at the Winship Green Nursing Home. He was born the son of Henry Sr. and Ethel (Stinson) Seeger.

Lyndon Luren Lane, 91, of New Harbor, died July 6 at his home. Born on March 30, 1922, he was the son of the late Perley and Flora (Morton) Lane Sr.

Bernard John McAlice, 83, of Round Pond, died suddenly at Maine Medical Center after battling a long illness while residing at Cove’s Edge.

Dorothy (Davis) Sherwood, 89, formerly of Marblehead, Mass., died July 7 at her residence, Edgecomb Green assisted living.

Thomas Albert Couture, 52, of Jefferson, passed away suddenly in his home on July 2.

William Brocklesby, 77, of Naples, Fla., passed away on June 23 after a brief illness.

Patricia M. Chapman, 87, of Whitefield died July 9 at her residence.

Eileen M. Doyle, 88, passed away peacefully at Country Manor in Coopers Mills on July 28.

Phillip “Rusty” McGuire, 85, of Newcastle, died at his home on June 28.

Katharine “Kitty” H. Brown, 83, of Nobleboro, died in a car accident on July 12.

Frederick F. Pendleton II, 86, of Wiscasset, passed away on July 28.
