Ellen L. Rice, 76, of Pemaquid, passed away peacefully on the afternoon of June 2 at Cove’s Edge Nursing Facility in Damariscotta.

Kate Barnes has crossed the field, a field full of horses and dogs, sunlight and singing. Kate passed away on June 10 at Harbor Hill in Belfast.

Joy Goddard Chase, 97, of Newcastle, died peacefully at home on June 10.

Dorothy Koreen Fraser, 103, of Gardiner, died peacefully on Dec. 27, 2012, at MaineGeneral Rehabilitation and Nursing Care at Glenridge in Augusta.

Philip A. McLellan, 83, of Boothbay, passed away peacefully May 24 at St. Andrews Hospital in Boothbay Harbor with his loving family by his side.

Annetta B. Morton, 94, died May 15 at St. Andrews Village in Boothbay Harbor. She was born on Loud’s Island Aug. 11, 1918 to Alden and Inez Carter Collamore. She grew up in Round Pond and attended local schools.

Elinor M. Lewis, 94, lifelong resident of Wiscasset, died May 5 at Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta.

A graveside service for Anne Johnston will be held 1 p.m., Sat., May 25 at Sunny View Post Cemetery in Warren.

Liliane De Cock Morgan, a child of World War II Belgium who later became a vital part of the west coast fine photography world and photographic assistant to Ansel Adams, before continuing her career in the New York area, died quietly in her home in Wiscasset, due to complications from cancer, on May 25th. She was 73 and had moved to Maine in 2010 from Ridgefield, Conn.

Virginia “Carol” (Verney) Shorey, 80, of Sheepscott (Newcastle), died on May 14 at her home.

Catherine Matthews Risley, 97, of Damariscotta, formerly of Walpole, passed away at her home on the evening of April 27.

A graveside service for Austin Achorn, who died March 20, will be held 10 a.m., Mon., May 20 at the Shuman Cemetery in Waldoboro.

Hannah J. Flagg, 86, of Nobleboro, passed away on May 21 at Maine Medical Center in Portland with her loving family by her side.

Michael Lee Reed, 56, of Wiscasset, died May 20 at Midcoast Hospital in Brunswick of appendix cancer.
