The Lincoln Academy girls tennis team defeated Belfast 4-1 in their season finale on Tuesday to wrap up their KVAC season undefeated at 12-0. The Lady Eagles will host Waterville at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, May 27 for the KVAC championship.

Cochran and Franklin Win Fort Edgecomb Half Marathon
Fifty-three runners competed in the Fort Edgecomb Half Marathon on Sunday. Jimmie Cochran, of New Hampshire, was the overall winner. Amy Franklin, of Bath, was the first female finisher and fourth overall.
Medomak Softball Sinks the Shipbuilders
Medomak Valley’s softball team won a slugfest with Morse 15-10 on May 1 in Waldoboro. Gabby DePatsy went the distance in the win. Marissa Parks took the loss.

Felch Wins High Hurdles For Panthers
Medomak Valley senior Gavin Felch won the 110 high hurdles at a track and field meet in Brunswick on May 1. Felch won the event in 16.74 and placed second in the 300 hurdles in 44.46.
Lincoln Academy Softball 11-0
Lincoln Academy softball shut out Morse 7-0 Friday in Newcastle to improve their record to 10-0. The team defeated Spruce Mountain 6-1 on May 13 at the Eagles home field raising their record to 11-0.
Wiscasset baseball mercy Boothbay
Wiscasset’s baseball team shut out Boothbay 10-0 in five innings on Tuesday. Tyler Bailey collected the win and Matt Craig the save. Logan Orr drove in three runs and Craig, Chase Reed and Brycson Grover one each in the win.
Boothbay girls avenged an earlier season loss to Wiscasset, with an 18-4 five inning mercy ruling win on Tuesday in Boothbay. The Seahawks were led Cagney O’Brien with a homerun and single, and M. Abbott 3 singles.
Richmond and Andreada Take First for The Eagles
Lawrence girls and Messalonskee boys won a six-team KVAC track and field meet on April 30. Lincoln girls took fourth and the boys sixth.
