The disc golf course at Cider Hill Farm in Waldoboro started off last year with just nine holes, but as of this past spring, the field and woodland course includes a full 18 holes and spans just under 4,900 feet.

Nick Scott won the Lobster Roll 5K Saturday morning in Boothbay Harbor in a time of 16:46. Krystal Douglas was the first female finisher and ninth overall in 19:12. Two hundred and fourteen runners participated in the race

Medomak Valley 10&11 Little League baseball all-stars defeated Oceanside 11-1 Saturday night to win the District 2 championship. Oceanside won the first game in the best of three series.

Diamondbacks Win Medomak Little League championship
The Diamondbacks won the Medomak Valley Little League championship 27-15 over the Fillies in Waldoboro on Saturday. The Diamondbacks batted through the lineup in four out of the five innings, thanks to 14 hits and 24 walks.

Due to wet field conditions, all high school baseball and softball games, originally scheduled for Monday, then moved to Tuesday, have been postponed again. The MVC track championships, that were cut short by a lightning storm on May 28 will be finished today at Lisbon.

Union Farm Equipment defeated Wiscasset Bay 13-3 by five inning mercy ruling in Babe Ruth action on June 17. Nathan Emerson collected the win and Ryan Creamer the save.
