Medomak Middle School eighth-graders came from behind to beat Belfast 55-45 in the Busline League Large School A Championship game Saturday on their home court in Waldoboro.

Medomak Middle School came from behind late in the fourth quarter to beat Wiscasset 55-51 in Busline League semifinal basketball action on Thursday.

An experienced Dirigo team handed the young Wolverines a 73-46 loss Jan. 3 at Dirigo.

The young Eagle basketball team continued to struggle this week in losses to Camden and Leavitt. With the losses, Lincoln drops to 3-11.

Lincoln Academy clipped Mt.View 58-54 in overtime Tuesday on the road.

The shorthanded Lincoln Academy team defeated Brewer 42-30 and lost to Skowhegan 65-9, Oxford Hills 51-8, MCI 36-23, Belfast 54-18, and Mt. Ararat 54-18 in Eagle wrestling action this week.
