Medomak Valley softball picked up three wins this week to improve their record to 8-3. Panther pitchers Kayla Vannah and Kayla Santheson gave up a combined four hits in the three games.

Lincoln Academy announced this week that Conrad Lewis has been hired as the head girls’ basketball coach. Lewis assisted Sam Farrell last year. Farrell stepped down from the position to take the head coaching job at Brunswick High School.

Medomak Valley boys’ tennis team handed Lincoln Academy their first loss of the season Monday night in Waldoboro. The Panthers improve to 6-2, and the Eagles are 6-1. Joaquin Perez-Marsa defeated Cam Blake 6-0, 6-1.
Medomak Valley squeaked out a one run win in eight innings over Oak Hill at home on April 29. Kayla Santheson struck out 14 (2B,5H) to collect her first win of the year. Hall took the loss for Oak Hill (8K,2B,7H).
Lincoln Academy boys’ tennis team defeated Waterville 3-2 on May 28 to win the KVAC championship. The Eagles rang the school bell Friday morning in celebration of their win.
Oak Hill raided Medomak in Waldoboro on April 29 for an 8-7 win. The Raiders took full advantage of four Panthers errors. Dale Winchenbach (5K, 3B, 7H) took the loss.
