Coastal Hoops boys’ basketball team opened their fall basketball season on Sunday with two wins. Fall basketball is sponsored by MBR.org and has 46 high school boys teams playing. Teams are not affiliated with any high school or athletic program.

Lincoln Academy’s boys’ soccer team picked up two wins this week to finish their KVAC season with a 9-5 record.

Over 1000 runners converged in Belfast Saturday to compete in the Festival of Champions cross country race. Awards were presented to the top 20 runners in the seeded division.

Boothbay boys’ cross country team won the Mt.Valley Conference cross-country championships at UMA in Augusta on Saturday morning under sunny but cold and windy conditions.
