Lincoln Academy boys’ tennis team successfully defended their KVAC title in a four and a half hour marathon match at Gardiner May 27. With the score tied at 2-2, the match came down to second singles between Cameron Blake and Brian Jortner.

Bath Savings softball team wrapped up a perfect season at Beach Field in Pemaquid on Saturday, with a 25-5 win over Colby & Gale in the Lincoln Little League softball championship game.

Three Medomak Valley High School track and field athletes collected gold at the KVAC championships, held in Bath May 29.

Adriane Berry won the high jump (4’10”) and the 300 hurdles in 56.7, and Alex Smelcer won the 400 in 57 seconds in Wiscasset’s home track meet on May 13.

Medomak Valley senior Morgan Baum swept the weight events at Belfast on May 7.

Lincoln Academy boys’ tennis won three of four matches this week to improve to 9-1.
