Lincoln Academy wrestlers picked up a win over Winslow 60-18 at the Cony Duals tournament on Saturday.

Medomak Valley girls’ basketball team picked up wins over Camden and Oak Hill this week to improve their record to 4-0.

Lincoln Academy wrestlers pinned down a 60-24 win over Medomak, padded seven forfeits. Mark Zaccadelli (103), Nikki Leeman (112), Dylan York (135), Tucker Phinney (145), Alex Benner (152), Chris Chickering (160) and Mardy Alden (215) won by forfeit for the Eagles, and Ben Lufkin (119) and Gabe Delano (285) won by forfeit for Medomak Valley.

Medomak Valley trailed most of the game, before rallying in the 4th quarter to beat county rivals Lincoln Academy 54-52 Friday night in Waldoboro.

Lewiston numbers were too heavy to overcome in Lincoln Academy’s and Wiscasset’s opening swim meet Friday night.

Medomak Valley girls picked up their fifth straight win of the season, home against Lincoln Academy Friday night, 43-37. The Lady Panthers made only 14 of 30 foul shots, which allowed the Eagles to stay in the game. Lincoln made 10 of 14 foul shots, led by Laura Soohey who hit 7 of 10.

The Raiders were no match for Medomak Valley boys’ basketball team Tuesday night, falling 76-55 in front of the Panthers home crowd in Waldoboro.

Lincoln Academy freshman Kara Mullin and sophomore Valeska Vaughn continue to rewrite the Eagle record books this week. Mullin broke the 200 free record in 2:14.28, and Vaughn broke the 100 free record in 1:01.74.

After dropping their first two games of the season, the Lady Eagles picked up back-to- back wins over Oak Hill and Rockland to improve to 2-2.

After dropping their first four games of the season, Wiscasset boys’ basketball team rebounded this week with three straight wins, beating Winthrop 62-52, Mt.Abram 56-53 and Lisbon 60-39.

Wiscasset boys’ basketball team is sruggling to take advantage of game situations to pull out a win this season. The Redskins are 0-4, losing two games in overtime and a third by one point.

Wiscasset girls ran out of steam in the second half in two losses this week. The Redskins fell to Jay 60-40 Friday night in a game that was tied 24-24 at the half and they trailed 35-31 at the end of three.
