Lady Panthers Bunt And Belt Way To Eastern Maine Class B Championship
Medomak Valley’s softball successfully defended their Eastern Maine Class B crown Tuesday night in Brewer, with a 4-1 win over Erskine Academy.

Wiscasset Raceway hosted another great event on Saturday, June 6th. On top of it being a great day outside for racing action, Wiscasset Raceway also had the Kora mini racer there to help raise money for the Shriners on Napa Auto Parts night.

The Damariscotta American Legions defeated Nobleboro Village Store 4-1 on Saturday to win the Lincoln Little League baseball championship.
Forgues Win State C Racewalk, Campbell State Runner-Up In 300 Hurdles
Boothbay’s Matthew Forgues successfully defended his State Class C 1600 racewalk title on June 6 at Morse in a winning time of 7:07. Wiscasset’s Brandon Campbell was State Class C runner-up in the 300 hurdles in 40.74. Campbell just missed medalling in the 200 by 1/100th of a second with an eighth place finish in 24.09.

Lincoln Academy’s baseball team defeated Oak Hill 9-0 on May 11 in the West Class B quarterfinals in Newcastle.

DB&T Win Little League Softball Championship
Damariscotta Bank & Trust defeated McDonald’s 9-7 on Saturday in an two and a half hour game to win the Lincoln Little League softball championships.
DB&T relief pitcher Sydney Dyer shut McDonald’s down in the final three innings to secure the win.

Workman Named KVAC Lacrosse Coach Of The Year
Lincoln Academy boys’ lacrosse coach George Workman was named KVAC Coach of the Year. Workman has coached at Lincoln for nine years, including as varsity coach for the past three years.
