Lincoln Academy boys’ basketball team picked up their third straight win Tuesday night, on the road at Nokomis 75-47.

Medomak Wrestler Genthner Picks up 100th Career Win
Medomak Valley wrestler Steven Genthner (145) picked up his 100th career win on Saturday at Mt. Ararat in less than dramatic fashion, taking a victory by forfeit over Chevrus. Genthner collected six wins in six matches this week to achieve the milestone.
Hanley, Mullin And Lady Eagle 400 Relay Team Break Records
Ross Hanley broke Wiscasset’s 100 butterfly record in 58.95 on Jan. 15 in Augusta. Kara Mullin broke her own Lincoln Academy record in the 200 free in a time of 2:12.64.

Medomak Valley boys’ basketball team picked up their third straight win Friday night to improve their record to 10-2.
Coastal Christian Top Bucksport, Fall To South Liberty
Coastal Christian boys’ basketball team stayed with South Liberty for three quarters, before foul trouble took its toll. South Liberty pulled away in the final period for a 79-65 win.
Bulldogs nip WHS Girls
The Bulldogs took a 13-3 lead at the end of one, and continued to pull away against Wiscasset on Jan. 14. Madison led 13-3, 26-12 and 41-24 at the quarter breaks.

Medomak Valley will be honoring their 1991 State championship wrestling team on Sat. Jan 23 at their final home meet of the season.

Medomak Valley boys’ basketball team picked up wins over Nokomis and Waterville this week, and lost a physical game with Winslow. The Panthers’ record is 8 wins, 2 losses.
Wiscasset Rallies Over Rival Boothbay
Wiscasset boys’ basketball team rallied in 2nd half action to defeat Lincoln County rivals Boothbay 68-56 on Jan. 6. Wiscasset out-rebounded Boothbay 44-32 and took care of the ball in 2nd half action to pull out the come-from-behind win.
Medomak Valley Cheerleaders West B Runner-Ups
Medomak Valley High School cheerleaders nailed their routine at the Western Maine Class B cheering championships, held at the Augusta Civic Center on Saturday.
