The top male and female runners in the Waldoboro Day 5K were teenagers from Medomak Valley High School.

Lincoln Baseball 11-4 With A Game To Go
Lincoln Academy’s baseball team split two games this week, losing to Belfast in makeup action on Saturday and beating Oak Hill 16-5 on Tuesday. The Eagles are 11-4 with one game to go, at Camden on June 3.

Eagles Jam Camden In KVAC Finale
Lincoln Academy baseball’s team rallied from behind to beat Camden 4-2 on June 3 in their KVAC finale. The Eagles’ home game was played in Camden due to graduation set-up on the baseball field. Gavin Joannides went the distance in the win (8K, 5H, 3B).

Baum, O’Donnell, And Parmenter Medal At State Class B Meet
Three Medomak Valley track and field athletes medalled at the State Class B track and field championships, held at MDI on June 6. Patrick O’Donnell placed fourth in the 800 in 2:00.46.
Lady Panthers Bunt And Belt Way To Eastern Maine Class B Championship
Medomak Valley’s softball successfully defended their Eastern Maine Class B crown Tuesday night in Brewer, with a 4-1 win over Erskine Academy.
At the Raceway
Wiscasset Raceway hosted another great event on Saturday, June 6th. On top of it being a great day outside for racing action, Wiscasset Raceway also had the Kora mini racer there to help raise money for the Shriners on Napa Auto Parts night.
Campbell And Grover Take First In Wiscasset Track
Brandon Campbell captured two first places and Cameron Grover one in Wiscasset’s first home track meet of the season. Campbell won the 300 hurdles in 41.9 and the triple jump (40’3″).

Lewis To Head Up LA Girls’ Basketball
Lincoln Academy announced this week that Conrad Lewis has been hired as the head girls’ basketball coach. Lewis assisted Sam Farrell last year. Farrell stepped down from the position to take the head coaching job at Brunswick High School.
