Lincoln Academy and Wiscasset opened their 2008-09 swim season with a four team meet at Morse on Dec. 16.

The Midcoast Ice Cats have named Mike Schroeder as the new head coach for the 2008-09 ice hockey season. Schroeder was introduced at a parent/player meeting Sunday afternoon at the MRC (Midcoast Recreation Center in West Rockport).
