Trifle is a traditional English dessert, and with its layers of cake, fruit, spirits, custard and cream, will appeal to all guests. We’ll learn techniques to create this elegant and indulgent Christmas treat. $25 per person.

The village of Wiscasset invites you to get into the spirit of the season at Wiscasset Holiday Marketfest, four days of special events designed to make holiday shopping fun for the whole family.
From Thursday December 7th through Sunday the 10th, the streets will sparkle with lights and festive music as well as tasty treats and hot drinks. On Friday and Saturday you’ll find pop-ups with handmade crafts and wearable art plus a special kids-only shop sponsored by the library.

Miles & St. Andrews Home Health & Hospice’s grief support group meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 2 p.m. in Damariscotta. Coping with loss is discussed in a supportive and confidential environment, facilitated by trained volunteers who receive supervision from experienced clinicians. Miles & St. Andrews Home Health & Hospice group facilitators understand that each person’s reaction to grief is unique. Topics of discussion and sharing during their meetings include dealing with loneliness, understanding the grieving process, adjusting to life without the loved one, and learning how others and dealing with their challenges.
In addition to providing grief and bereavement services, Miles & St. Andrews Home Health & Hospice offers a comprehensive range of Home Health & Hospice services from companionship to highly-skilled nursing and therapy in homes and facilities throughout Midcoast Maine. Their grief support groups are free of charge, however, registration is required.

Lincoln Academy stands with our greater boarding school community to support them in their time of need. We will also be supporting a local food pantry in the Lincoln County area to help insure everyone has food on the table this winter season.
✦The Ambassadors club is an amazing group of international and day students at Lincoln Academy that welcome incoming students and show them around the school so that they feel comfortable with the new environment.
✦The Polar Express is a timeless adventure following a doubting young boy as he embarks on a train ride to the North Pole.
