The public is invited to hear from Holly Stover from House District 89 and Chloe Maxmin from House District 88. They will discuss the causes they are working on and share their general first impressions of work in the Maine Legislature.
Maxmin is a member of the Joint Standing Committee on Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry, and Stover is a member of the Joint Standing Committee on Health and Human Services.
The Lincoln County Democratic Committee’s (LCDC) is the sponsor of the Mar. 21 session to be held in the Community Room at the Newcastle Fire Station, 86 River Rd. in Newcastle. A social half-hour starts at 6:30 p.m. followed by the discussion at 7 p.m.
The LCDC monthly meeting is an opportunity to meet members, participate in discussion, hear from political candidates and other speakers with expertise, ideas and opinions about current issues.
In 2019, the LCDC will meet on the third Thursday of each month through Nov. same time, same place Some gatherings, like this one, are open to the public. All Democrats and progressive independent or unenrolled voters are encouraged to attend any committee meeting.
