East Forty Farm is a working farm, and as you dine you will hear the cow’s bells as they graze in the field; contented grunts from the pigs in their forest pasture; and assorted clucks and quacks. The early evening is filled with bird song, and the Medomak River is illuminated by the setting sun in the distance. Each supper has a theme and the summer series is prepared by guest chefs and is limited to 20 guests.
“Lamb. Wood Fire. Smoke and Coals” will be prepared by Guy Hernandez, owner of Lolita Vinoteca Asador, in Portland.
Menu: Lolita is known for their wood fired grill cooking and this menu will be built around Maine raised lamb and Mediterranean flavors cooked over wood and coals. Full menu will be released closer to the supper.
$75 per person, BYOB

His boogie-woogie piano playing is something that must be seen and heard to be believed. The Library of Congress has called him “a national treasure.” The Department of State calls him a musical ambassador. We just keep calling him to come back and play, and again this August this story-telling master of the
keyboard will enliven our stage. Our piano is exhausted by the time Bob packs up each year, but the audience is energized.

The award winning and highly acclaimed band Le Vent du Nord is a leading force in Quebec’s progressive francophone folk movement. The group’s vast repertoire draws from both traditional sources and original compositions, while enhancing its hard-driving soulful music (rooted in the Celtic diaspora) with a broad range of global influences.”Featuring button accordion, guitar and fiddle, the band’s sound is defined by the hurdy-gurdy, which adds an earthy, rough-hewn flavor to even the most buoyant dance tunes”says the Boston Herald. Since its inception in August 2002, Le Vent du Nord has enjoyed meteoric success, performing well over 1,800 concerts over 5 continents and racking up several prestigious awards, including a Grand Prix du Disque Charles Cros, two Junos (Canada’s Grammys), a Félix at ADISQ, a Canadian Folk Music Award, and “Artist of the Year” at the North American Folk Alliance Annual Gala.
