Join us for a 1.5 hour presentation with farmworker leaders from Vermont’s dairy industry. Learn more about Milk with Dignity, the current Hannaford campaign and how to get involved!
Farmworkers from Vermont are hitting the road this March to spread the word about Milk with Dignity! Since Ben & Jerrys’ became the first company to sign onto the Milk with Dignity Program in 2017, farmworkers have seen groundbreaking improvements in human rights issues on dairy farms across the state. This program also supports farmers by securing a milk premium from big dairy-buying companies which goes directly to farmers and farmworkers. In the fall of 2019 farmworkers announced plans to expand the program to another regional dairy-buyer, the Hannaford supermarket! Join us to learn more about Milk with Dignity, exciting updates about the Hannaford Campaign and how to get involved!

Advance tickets $35. Regular tickets $40. One of Canada’s finest artists, Bruce Cockburn has enjoyed an illustrious career shaped by politics, spirituality, and musical diversity. His remarkable journey has seen him embrace folk, jazz, rock, and worldbeat styles while travelling to such far-flung places as Guatemala, Mali, Mozambique, and Nepal, and writing memorable songs about his ever-expanding world of wonders. “My job,” he explains, “is to try and trap the spirit of things in the scratches of pen on paper and the pulling of notes out of metal.” That scratching and pulling has earned Cockburn high praise as an exceptional songwriter and a revered guitarist. He tours this year celebrating 50 years and 34 albums, and will be performing music from each of the decades he’s been performing. His songs of romance, protest, and spiritual discovery are among the best to have emerged from Canada over the last 40 years.
