Never Again is a happy, jamming, 5-piece band that brings the heat when it’s time to dance. They blend favorite covers of Grateful Dead, Allman Brothers, Bill Withers, Dave Mason, B.B. King, Neil Young, Meters, Dylan, Santana, etc., with upbeat originals and an odd surprise or two — surfer version of a Miles Davis, tune anyone? The band features drummer Dave Rawson and guitarists Pete Thayer and Bob Knowles — three veterans of the original Spaceheaters, famous for tearing it up on the pier at Five Islands and other great midcoast venues. They are joined by bassist David Skipp of the Virginia band, Take Four, and keyboardist Paul ‘Otto’ Otteson of Earth Jam, Sirius B, and Baked Alaska — bands that shared stages with Rusted Root, String Cheese Incident, Poco and others. Good time at a great place!
