The Novel Jazz Septet plays from 7-9:30 p.m. in the atrium of Skidompha Public Library, 184 Main St., Damariscotta. Admission is $15 for adults, $13 for seniors age 65 and older, and $7 for those ages 12-18. Kids under 12 are free.

The Wells-Hussey American Legion Auxiliary on Upper Main Street in Damariscotta will hold a public benefit supper with live music. The supper will benefit Jody Grindle Pickett. Following the benefit supper, Larry Sidelinger and his group will play music from 7-10 p.m., for dancing and relaxing.

The supper will include spaghetti, garlic bread, salad, and dessert. The cost is a donation.
