Heartwood Theater Presents Sarah Ruhl’s “Eurydice,” re-imagining the classic myth of Orpheus through the eyes of its heroine. Dying too young on her wedding day, Eurydice [yoo-rid-uh-see] must journey to the underworld, where she reunites with her father and struggles to remember her lost love. With contemporary characters, ingenious plot twists, and breathtaking visual effects, the play is a fresh look at a timeless love story.

Be a part of the 2nd Annual STRIDE Walk. Jog. Run. for Parkinson’s Disease. JOIN Ultra Endurance Athlete – Hunter de Garmo – as he takes on the EPIC challenge of running 50K (31 miles) on the Indoor Track fundraising for The Maine Parkinson Society. STRIDE is open to ALL AGES & ALL ABILITIES for anyone to walk, jog or run ANY DISTANCE for a suggest donation of $10. I personally invite the entire Community, people with Parkinson’s, Caregivers, Friends & Family to support Parkinon’s Disease AWARENESS in Maine by participating in your own challenge and choose to WALK, JOG or RUN any distance on the Boothbay Region YMCA Indoor Track.
