The Central Lincoln County YMCA is once again collaborating with community businesses, organizations, and individuals to organize the Community Tree of Giving, which is designed to help families fulfill needs of their children this Christmas.
‘Maine Statehood’ Talk Rescheduled
The Nobleboro Historical Society’s illustrated talk titled “Maine Statehood in 1820: Hard-won and Controversial,” to be presented by Carolyn Hardman, was canceled last Friday night, Nov. 1, because of power outages. It is rescheduled for this Friday, Nov. 8 at 7 p.m. at the Nobleboro Historical Center.

Lincoln County EMA Program to ‘Light Up Teal’

Turkey Supper in Jefferson
The Jefferson Fire and Rescue and Explorer Post No. 343 turkey supper will take place Saturday, Nov. 9 from 5-7 p.m. at the Jefferson fire house, 204 Waldoboro Road, Jefferson.
Lifeguarding Course in Wiscasset
The Wiscasset Community Center, in conjunction with the American Red Cross, is offering a lifeguard training course in November. This is a blended learning course, which means participants will do half the course in line before coming to the pool for the water part of the course. Precourse screening is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 3 from 2-3 p.m. or Monday, Nov. 4 from 5-6 p.m.
