Cruise for a Cause Campaign Raises Money to Fight Childhood Hunger
Mexicali Blues in Newcastle recently teamed up with Go Big for Hunger to raise money while cruising and grooving to a Grateful Dead cover band in Casco Bay. The Maine brand’s second annual Cruise for a Cause charity event raised over $8,500, with 100% of the money benefiting Go Big For Hunger’s mission of ending childhood hunger in Maine.
Annual Chicken Pie Supper in Whitefield
Whitefield’s annual fall tradition, the Kings Mills Union Hall Association’s chicken pie supper, will take place this year on Saturday, Oct. 19 from 5-7 p.m.
Paint Nite Maine for Kids at St. Giles’ Oct. 19

Round Top Season Closer to Give Proceeds to Benefit CHIP, Stepping Stone
Tuesday, Oct. 15 will be the last day of the 2019 season for the Round Top Ice Cream stand in Damariscotta. In keeping with custom, the entire proceeds of the day will be given to local charities. This year, the Community Housing Improvement Project and Stepping Stone Housing will benefit.
