Stories to Screen Series Returns to Lincoln Theater

The Lincoln Theater in downtown Damariscotta is bringing some of the public’s favorite children’s books to the big screen as it launches the next Stories to Screen series.

Dow Furniture is all about local Maine businesses, which is why it is partnering with Cornerstone Financial, of Waldoboro, to put on this year’s Harvest Fest at Dow Furniture, under the big tent right off Route 1 in Waldoboro on Saturday, Oct. 26. Edward Bixby Furber, of Southport, passed away Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 16, 2019 at the age of 90, surrounded by Elizabeth, his wife of 60 years, and his sons Bill, Tom, and Win, who have loved him dearly and always will.

Elaine Crook Hatch, 93, passed away on the afternoon of Oct. 11, 2019 at Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta, with her husband David by her side. Born on Jan. 3, 1926 in Boston, Mass., she was the daughter of Wilson B. and Ruth (Shaw) Crook.

Anna (Borden) Sides

Anna (Borden) Sides, 93, died peacefully Sept. 30, 2019, at Putnam Farm Senior Living, Danvers, Mass. She was the beloved wife of the late Andrew Benjamin Sides Jr., who passed away in 2012.
