Samuel E. Roberts, 87, of Nobleboro, passed away peacefully at LincolnHealth – Miles Campus on Nov. 6 after a lengthy illness. He was born on Nov. 18, 1930 in Damariscotta to Francis and Dorothy Erskine Roberts.

EMA’s Project Lifesaver Program to ‘Go Teal’ for Alzheimer’s Awareness
Lincoln County Emergency Management Agency’s Project Lifesaver Program announced that it will “light up teal” on Thursday, Nov. 8 to raise Alzheimer’s awareness as part of the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America’s Light the World in Teal program.

A one-week stay at a two-bedroom rustic cottage on Damariscotta Lake, a dozen lobsters, works by local artists, creation of a will, and various furniture items and gift certificates are among the many items that will be offered at a silent auction on Saturday, Nov. 10 at the VFW Hall on Mill Street in Waldoboro.
Free Car Seats at Boothbay Region Health Center
Qualifying families can receive free car seats for infants and children. Robyn Ham, one of Boothbay Region Health Center’s health coordinators, has qualified as a child passenger safety technician and has registered the center as a designated car-seat distribution location through the Maine Bureau of Highway Safety. That means that income-eligible families can make an appointment at the health center to receive a free car seat as well as safety instructions.
