Camden National Donates $2,500 to Midcoast Homeless Shelters

Camden National Bank recently donated a total of $2,500 to Hospitality House and New Hope for Women in conjunction with its Midcoast Customer Appreciation Week. The donation is part of the bank’s unique Hope@Home initiative, which supports the vital work of shelters in area communities. Since the program’s inception, the bank has donated over $40,000 total to Hospitality House and New Hope for Women.

Blood Drive in Jefferson

Clamshell Quilters Coming to PWA Office-Gallery

The walls of the Pemaquid Watershed Association office-gallery will soon be brightened with the fine art of quilting by the Clamshell Quilters, the Lincoln County chapter of the Pine Tree Quilters Guild. From Oct. 22 through Nov. 21, there will be 43 wall quilts displayed with about one-third of them for sale.

Edgecomb Church to Hold Benefit Supper for Fire Department

Edgecomb Community Church will hold a benefit supper for the Edgecomb Fire Department on Saturday, Oct. 27 at 5 p.m. The menu will consist of a variety of delicious home-cooked comfort foods, including macaroni and cheese and meatloaf, salads, rolls, pies, and other desserts.

Damariscotta River Grill in Damariscotta will host four new artists, Judy Conlan, Patti Corscaden, Sarah Lynn Richards, and Cory Stafford, in an upcoming show running Oct. 22 to Dec. 3. The “Art at the Grill” opening reception, on Wednesday, Oct. 24, will take place from 4-5:30 p.m. One can stop in to meet the artists and learn more about their diverse styles and stories while savoring delicious hors d’oeuvres.
