The Waldoboro Public Library is gearing up for the second annual Brats ’n’ Brews tasting event, together with a live auction, at the VFW Hall on Mill St. in Waldoboro on Saturday, July 7. The tasting event will be from 3-6:30 p.m. and will feature local brews from Odd Alewives Farm Brewery, Liberty Craft Brewing, Oxbow Brewing Co., and Threshers Brewing Co.

On Wednesday, June 6, the Waldoboro Lions Club held its regular business meeting at its location on Mill Street at 6:30 p.m. in the VFW Hall. Twelve Lions and several guests enjoyed a delicious turkey pot pie dinner catered by Moody’s Diner and its staff.

Stackhouse’s Send a Kid to Camp Event is July 3
Stackhouse Landscaping will host its annual hot-dog-eating contest on Tuesday, July 3 in support of the Central Lincoln County YMCA’s Send a Kid to Camp fund. The event includes music, a dunk tank, a kids pie-eating contest, a paintball shootout, and more, but the grand finale is the much-anticipated hot-dog-eating contest.

The Lincoln County Democrats invite all interested voters to come to their campaign headquarters on Saturday mornings from 10-11 a.m. to talk informally with a local candidate while enjoying Barn Door Bakery goodies and coffee. The gatherings are free.
