Isabelle Levin Manahan, a beloved freshman at Lincoln Academy, passed away last Friday afternoon, June 8, in a car accident. She’s survived by her parents, Bryan Manahan and Carrie Levine, and her older brother, Aidan.

Heartwood Presents Original Play Set in Midcoast Maine
Heartwood Regional Theater Company enthusiastically presents an original new work, written and directed by Griff Braley, on stage June 29 through July 7. “Down Along the Cove” has been in development for several years, with three separate actor workshops, subsequent rewrites, a preview audience in May, and final rewrites. Rehearsals begin this week, in the final stage of creation.

Jefferson Scoop to Hold Benefit for Fire Department
Jefferson Scoop owner Joe Holland will hold a fundraiser for the Jefferson Fire Department on Saturday, June 23. “All proceeds will be donated to the fire department,” Holland said. The event will be held from noon to closing time at 9 p.m. at the Route 32 ice cream stand.
